An unknown malicious party has resumed the attack against the service of the Penza company “United Information System” that causes the three popular Penza websites, free advertisement portal Bazarpnz.ru, local search engine E58.ru, and medical portal Medpnz.ru, to remain inaccessible.

Earlier, Sergei Kolesnikov, technical director of “United Information System,” told PenzaNews agency they managed to restore control of all three websites at 16.05 of Monday, September 28. However, the websites were brought down again about an hour later.

The company professionals are currently working on restoring access to the websites.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the server of “United Information System” responsible for the three company websites, including the free advertisement portal Bazarpnz.ru with an average audience of 40,000 visitors per day, began experiencing a malicious attack in the evening of Sunday, September 27, with a break in the morning of Monday, September 28, from 6.30 to 7.30.

According to Sergei Kolesnikov, the machinations that caused the websites to become inaccessible could have been “not just a random attack for laughs, but a direct order.”

In particular, the technical director of “United Information System” suggested this could be an unfair attempt by an unidentified party to push the competitor out of the advertisement market.
