Penza, 11 January 2016. PenzaNews. The governor Ivan Belozertsev was taken aback by the results of the analysis for procurement prices on food items for regional educational institutions that show significant differences for similar items.

“The difference is very big. In one area, the prices for the same group of foods double in price compared to an adjacent one. That must never happen. Please analyze the reasons with procurement managers,” Ivan Belozertsev told the regional Education Minister Alexander Voronkov and the government deputy chairman Yuri Krivov during the regional government meeting session on Monday, January 11.
“We need to save every ruble, particularly now,” the governor added.
Also, Ivan Belozertsev said he does not understand how the procurement prices on potatoes for educational institutions located in two different areas of the Penza region can be 15-20% apart from one another.
