“There is now a ‘guest’ horse in the Gudermes stable. She has no name. And her story is a sad one too. In the beginning of the previous year, I received a request from a Penza region citizen to help save a dying horse that was to be taken to the meat processing plant. I immediately decided to buy her out to save her life,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Instagram account.

According to him, the animal arrived to Chechnya emaciated, pestered by scabs and suffering from a grave leg injury.

“I paid particular attention to her today from the viewing platform. A stately, lively, beautiful animal. She fully recovered. her life is no longer in danger. I visited her for a while in the stables; she eagerly responded to my commands. Our experts headed by the senior horseback racing coach Said-Hussein Shaptukaev nursed her back to health. Now she lives a calm life in the Gudermes stables together with her fellow horses,” the head of Chechnya wrote.

Ramzan Kadyrov illustrated his story with a video clip depicting the running horse, with himself leading her by the bridles.

The post attracted many comments, as people thanked the head of Chechnya for the act of generosity and care, as well as proposing a possible name for the horse. Among the suggestions are Agniya, Angela, Arzu, Amura, Vera, Dzhannat, Sunzha, and more. In addition, one of Ramzan Kadyrov’s subscribers proposed to hold a contest for the best name for the rescued Penza region horse.
