Crews of emergency repair electricians of the local “MRSK Volga” branch – “Penzaenergo” (Rosset group) are in the process of restoring power supply to several communities of the Penza and Bessonovka areas of the Penza region after the weather suddenly worsened in the night into Tuesday, February 23.

“They began restoring the power supply as early as at the nighttime of February 22, when we received first power loss reports. As of this moment, we have repaired over a half of 6-10 kV power lines. The electricians are now repairing the damages sustained by 0.4 kV power lines. The power supply network will be fully repaired today,” the press service of the company informed PenzaNews agency.

The representatives of “Penzaenergo” urged the citizens to remain calm and stay patient.

“If you locate a torn-off power supply line, immediately get in touch with the ‘MRSK Volga’ contact center by calling 8-800-775-16-42,” the press service added.
