The head of the region urged to discuss this issue with summer camp tutors in a remark made during the regional government meeting session on Monday, April 4.

According to Ivan Belozertsev, the children should be allowed to use their cellphones only at certain hours – such as three times a day in the morning, during dinner and in the evening – for calls to their parents.

This measure would serve to protect the school students from the negativity of the Internet, the governor stressed.

“They would be playing those odd games that affect their brains otherwise. Let’s think about it. The idea is good after all – to make children stay off their phones, so that they would socialize, play, study,” he said.
