“I held meetings with citizens in the previous week. Once again, I am convinced that we do not pay enough attention to full-scale and pothole repairs of roads,” said the head of the region during the regional government meeting session on Monday, May 23.
The work of the subcontractors must be supervised during, not after the asphalt-laying process, he stressed.
According to the governor, the supervisory officials must be very nearly “tailing them.”
Due to that, Ivan Belozertsev instructed the head of the Penza region Construction Ministry Alexander Grishaev to make a daily data report on the road repairs situation to quickly react to any cases where a subcontractor performs under the quality threshold.
