Penza, 31 May 2016. PenzaNews. The hotel complex “Chistye Prudy” continued the process of cleaning the water pond located by the resort in the Mokshansk area of the Penza region using chlorella microalgae.

Around 200 liters of chlorella was infused in the water as part of the process.

The experience of other regions shows that such treatment prevents water blooming and makes ponds better suitable for human rest and recreation in 3-4 years, thanks to chlorella oxygenating the water and acting as very nourishing food for fish.

“Along with the current measures, the Penza region Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Natural Resources is holding a variety of other water cleaning campaigns in the region. Our efforts to clean and deepen waterbeds, assist waterbed formation, reinforce waterbed edges and install anti-erosion guards have a positive effect on water quality,” explained Alexander Kuznetsov, deputy head of the Penza region Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Natural Resources.

The first “Chistye Prudy” water pond cleaning stage was held in March, with a total of three stages scheduled for the current year.
