Based on the most recent information update published on Thursday, June 9, the citation index of PenzaNews has increased from 1,700 up to 2,500 points.

The web-portal “PenzaInform” – a non-registered media source associated with the TV and radio broadcasting company “Nash Dom” – remains 400 points below.

At the same time, the citation index of “Penza-Press” – a part of the “Express” media holding – also holds at 2,100 points.

The top three distribution in the rating of Penza online news sources has not changed compared to the previous update that had taken place in April 2016.

Thematic Citation Index (TIC) is a technology employed by Yandex to determine the credibility of Internet resources in a quantitative output, based on the quality of links from other websites rather than quality.

TIC is calculated using a proprietary algorithm that takes into account thematic content of the resource and the linking sites.
