The event aims to help citizens learn more about the work of NCOs and increase the pro-charity movement, the executive director of Civil Union foundation Oleg Sharipkov told PenzaNews.

One of the highlights of the “Dobraya Penza” festival is the all-win lottery with prizes donated by authorities and businessmen.

The ticket for the lottery is 100 rubles, and the prizes are chosen at random from a big jar.

One of the prizes for the lottery to be chosen first was a big horse statue donated by the Penza region Arbitration Court staff, which was hailed as the crowning jewel of the prize pool.

During the event, visitors are able to learn more and ask questions to many organizations, such as the Russian Student Teams, the “Helping Hand to Stray Animals” foundation, the “Profkurort” health resorts union, the Sahaja Yoga movement, the children and youth sports center, and more.

In addition, the festival featured an exterior reporting station of “Echo Penzy” radio station, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary: its editor-in-chief Semyon Vakhshtain did a live broadcast from the Belinsky public garden during the festival.

Also, the festival features experience exchange events, workshops, and a fauna protection exhibition.
