Penza librarians discuss innovative methods to work with readers

Penza, 26 July 2016. PenzaNews. Innovative methods of working with readers became the main subject of the city librarians seminar held at the Belinsky Penza city public library on Tuesday, July 26.

The members of the seminar were tasked to create a reader education roadmap for the upcoming year – the Year of Environment in Russia.
According to Galina Aseeva, director of the Penza centralized library system, librarians must always strive to advancing forward in a positive manner.
“We must do everything we can to make it interesting and pleasant for our readers – both adults and children – to be in our libraries,” she pointed out.
Next, the seminar members were asked to create possible designs for interiors of city libraries, such as creating new zones for unusual library formats, bookcrossing, and children’s reading.
Moreover, the seminar was also dedicated to discussing expansion of paid services provided by libraries, says the website of the Penza city centralized library system.
