“Given that next week the weather promises to be chilly and rainy, it is necessary to make every effort to finish all the work on landscaping, including those territories with underground works, restoration of asphalt pavement where necessary in the coming days. The results of this work will be summed up on Sunday evening [October 9],” he said during a meeting at the City Hall on Friday, October 7.

The head of administration of Penza instructed vice mayor Yuri Ilyin to pass this information to the supplying organizations, and the heads of district administrations — to review municipal machinery.

“It is necessary that we do it now for clear understanding of who, where and how will be cleaning not only the main roadways, but also domestic territories off the snow during the coming winter,” the press office of Penza mayor quoted Victor Kuvaytsev.
