Penza, 28 December 2016. PenzaNews. The repairs, including capital ones, of more than 321 km of the roads of regional importance is planned to be carried out in the Penza region in 2017. This was announced on the website of the regional Ministry of Construction.

In addition, it is planned to carry out the reconstruction of 36.5 km of roads in five areas – Bekovsky, Lopatinsky, Luninsky, Serdobsky, and Shemysheisky.

According to the programme of the sustainable development of rural areas, 26 km of roads will be built.

Within the framework of the programme “Safe roads of high quality”, in 2017 it is planned to repair 89.7 km of roads, including 55.4 km – in Penza, 5.8 km – in Zarechny, 2.7 km – in the village Zasechny, 10.2 km of regional roads in the Penza region, 15.6 km of federal roads. 1.25 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes.

It is also planned to modernize 21 uncontrolled pedestrian crossings.

In addition, in 2017 it is planned to allot subsidies equal to 90 million rubles to municipal settlements from the road fund in order to carry out the repairs.

According to the data of the regional Ministry of Construction, the allotment of the regional road fund will amount to about 4.3 billion rubles in 2017, and in 2016, it amounted to almost 3.9 billion rubles.

In case 625 million rubles is received from the priority area “Penza agglomeration”, the road fund will amount to 4.9 billion rubles.
