Penza, 5 May 2018. PenzaNews. Less than in a day's time after a critical article on PenzaNews website workers filled a dangerous stretch of road in the yard of the house No. 1 in Glazunova street in Penza and a deep pit formed near the playground.
On the same day as mass media became interested in the issue of the March water supply system repair and the April road "restoration" a construction of boards and a warning tape appeared on the site to warn drivers and pedestrians about the danger.
Exactly at 9.00 on Saturday, May 5, a dump truck brought crushed stone to the yard, which was carefully distributed by three workers in orange overalls over the area where the damage had occurred in early spring.
Then the foreman of the group got into a domestic car and tried to ram the pile of stones using the car as a road roller. The others were watching his actions with interest all this time.
Having driving back and forth a couple of times the man got out of the car and assessed the results of his efforts. Probably he remained satisfied with what he had seen as he got back into the car together with his colleague and left, the other two workers left the yard on foot.
However, it turned out to be there was too much crushed stone in that area. In just a few minutes having assessed the height of the stone hill after the "repair" the motorist who intended to pass through the yard preferred to turn around and choose another path.
In turn, the tenants of the house do not lose hope that the road will be asphalted again.
