16-year-old hockey player who fell into coma during match died in Penza

Penza, 17 February 2012. PenzaNews. Sixteen-year old hockey player of “Olympia” from Kirovo-Chepetsk who had been in coma since February 11 in hospital of first aid named after G.A. Zaharin died on Friday, February 17. Grigory Kabelsky, the chairman of the committee of the Penza region on physical training, sports and tourism informed news agency PenzaNews about it.

“Representatives of the regional sport committee and all sport authorities of the city expressed sincere condolences to the family. These days there were many references wishing recovery, but unfortunately we didn’t manage to save life of the hockey player it. It is a great tragedy,” he said.
