Penza, 12 March 2012. PenzaNews. The governor Vasily Bochkarev offered to hold indoor soccer tournament in memory of chairman of the regional football federation Sergey Chernyshev.

“This man initiated the indoor soccer development in Penza region. We have to revere his memory by organizing this competition,” Bochkarev underlined during the meeting with president of the Russian indoor soccer association Emil Aliev and honorary president of this association Semen Andreev.

“This is a very good idea. Our association is ready to support new tournament and even provide with some prizes,” replied Semen Andreev.

Furthermore, he added that the association can invite best Russian indoor soccer teams to participate in the tournament.

Nowadays 4 players from the Penza region are the members of the Russian national indoor soccer team. Moreover, 2 players are considered to be included in national team. To my mind, Penza deserves holding the tournament of the highest level,” said the honorary president.
