Penza, 3 January 2015. PenzaNews. An annual campaign “Winter games” that aims to popularize winter sports will be held in the Penza region on Tuesday, January 6.

The event that will be spread over several locations aims to attract school and university students, as well as employees of government and private companies.

A family competition “Fun sports” will be held in the school No. 19 on Yagodnaya street, while a vocational gymnasium No. 13 will also hold a skiing race and hockey matches.

Citizens will be able to take part in a ski race on the Olympic Alley. The race will start at 10 am from the “Olympic rings” landmark.

As the press service of the regional government informed PenzaNews agency, those who wish to participate in the race must come with a medical certificate, while adults may instead write a request to free the race organizers of any responsibility for any health issues after the chase.
