Penza, 9 January 2015. PenzaNews. The second winter indoor soccer tournament among the foreign students studying in Penza city was held at the Penza State University.

The event gathered a total of 11 teams that included students from Jordan, Iraq, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey, along with foreign students of the Penza State University of Architecture and Construction, and a varsity PSU team.

Semi-finals involved teams from Iraqi, Russian and Turkmen students, and a PSUAC foreign student team.

The Russian student team has achieved victory. The silver medals were won by the Iraqi students, while the Turkmen youth were third.

“The event promotes healthy lifestyle, develops sports mastery and helps develop positive relations between foreign and local students,” the press service of the Penza State University commented for PenzaNews agency.
