Penza, 23 June 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza billiards player Alexader Muravyev has won the Russian championship in classic pyramids.

During the Ulyanovsk-held bouts, Alexander Muravyev has defeated Egor Plishkin, while Oleg Yerkulev earned his victory over Vyacheslav Smolyaninov.

As a result, the finals brought together the long-time “heavyweights” of most tournaments over the last few years. Each of them had already had a Russian championship victory in their record, both Alexander Muravyev in billiards triathlon in 2011, and Oleg Yerkulev in dynamic pyramids in 2014.

By the end of the match, the Penza player emerged the winner with 2:0.

This is the second Russian championship victory for Alexander Muravyev and his coach Igor Yasinetsky, the press service of the Billiards Enthusiast League reports.
