Maria Astashkina from Penza earns Baku European Games gold

Penza, 23 June 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza swimmer Maria Astashkina, 16, won a gold medal at the First European Games in Baku on Tuesday, June 23, in 50 meter breaststroke.

She traversed the course in 31.58 seconds.

The second place at the pedestal was taken by Laura Kelsch from Germany who yielded Maria 0.29 seconds, followed by Nolwenn Herve from France.
