Penza, 13 April 2016. PenzaNews. Over 200 foreign students who are studying in six Russian cities will be taking part in the 2nd Penza cricket tournament for universities that will take place on Saturday, April 16.

The event, which is scheduled to begin at 14.00, will be hosted by the Penza State University education and sports complex “Trud.”

Foreign students from Voronezh, Kursk, Moscow, Saratov, Tambov and Penza are expected at the competition.

“The tournament seeks to promote healthy lifestyle, develop sports mastery and establish positive cooperation between foreign students of different ethnicities to improve their social adaptation to living and studying at the PSU,” the Penza State University press service informed PenzaNews.

The main feature of this year’s tournament is the fact that it has been joined by three women’s teams, the university added.
