Penza, 15 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza sports palace “Burtasy” is currently holding two gymnastics training camps at once.

In particular, junior gymnasts of both genders from the Volga Federal District, as well as junior males (born in 2003-2006) from the Ural Federal District – a total of 66 people, including coaches – are honing their skills at the facility from June 6 to June 19.

The athletes and coaches primarily focus on preparing for the school spartakiad, prepare the strongest for the Volga Federal District team, and prepare a reserve roster for the Russian youth team.

In addition, gymnasts from Kazakhstan – four athletes from Chimkent, led by coach Timur Abdulin – are also training at “Burtasy” sports palace on June 6-19 to prepare for the Kazakhstan national championship.

According to the coach, the meeting held in Penza on March allowed the athletes to perform well at the school spartakiad and earn five gold medals, says the press service of “Burtasy” sports palace.
