Penza, 25 July 2016. PenzaNews. The pre-season training roadmap for the Penza women’s mini-football club “Laguna-UOR” has already been developed, the team’s new head coach Yuri Novikov announced during the press conference on Monday, July 25.

“Right now, the team has no particular roadblock issues ahead. Everything is aimed to making a good beginning in the season,” he said.

The team will be training mainly at Penza sports facilities, Yuri Novikov noted.

“We will not be going anywhere else, since we have good facilities here. We inspected them, watched them. The situation is not exactly splendid and ideal, but it is very, very good,” the team’s head coach clarified.

According to him, he is still yet to meet the team, who is currently taking its vacation in Brazil after the previous season.

“We will be meeting very soon to talk, explain the objectives and our mission. […] Of course, I would like the games to begin slightly later, so that we get a bit more time to prepare. If that would not be the case, we will be accelerating the whole physical and psychological preparation course. A good beginning makes a good ending, as they say. We will strive to make a good beginning,” Yuri Novikov explained.
