“We did not receive the official order yet,” the interlocutor noted.

He emphasized the fact that the athletes know the future director well because before he used to work as the main coach of the rugby department of the children and youth sports school No.8

Andrei Demin added that the existing situation of the governing body change affects the rugby club preparation to the following season.

As it was reported earlier, the ex-director of the club “Imperia” Sergei Kascheev resigned in December 2016. Commenting on this event he noted that he never hid his opinion, always expressed it and stood up for his ideas at all levels, though “not all people liked it”.

Sergei Kascheev expressed his hope that the new head of the club will try to “keep the team at the highest level of Russian rugby”.
