Penza City Duma office cut by 12%
Penza, 10 October 2014. PenzaNews. Penza city Duma office has been reduced by more than 12 percent, said the head of Penza Victor Kuvaytsev during a live interview on Echo Penzy radio station.
According to him, the cuts were made during the optimization of the City Duma structure and through the reassignment of the functional duties of the staff.
Earlier, Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev supported the idea to cut the Penza City Duma office by no less than 10 percent.
Moreover, the regional office began its work to optimize the government service expenses and the regional government body upkeep rates.
In particular, on October 3, it became known that 12 staff members will be laid off in the Penza region governor’s staff department and the regional government, while three government officials will be demoted.
