Penza, 6 February 2015. PenzaNews. Guzyal Batkaeva, first deputy to the Minister of Education of the Penza region, will temporarily head the ministry, according to the decision made by the governor Vasily Bochkarev.

Earlier, the media reported Svetlana Kopeshkina’s decision to retire from her office. February 6 was her last day as the Minister of Education.

Svetlana Kopeshkina was officially awarded the honorary medal “In Praise of Penza Land,” said Victor Rubtsov, governor’s staff department leader and chief of the regional government.

This is not the first time Guzyal Batkaeva was appointed acting Minister of Education of the region.

She headed the ministry during the period of Svetlana Kopeshkina’s absence from the office, from September 2012 to January 2013, after the latter was dismissed and until her reappointment.
