As of now, costs of text-messages and calls to SMARTS are equal to that of MTS in the Penza region, regardless of the billing plan.

“In early February, we launched a new billing plan ‘Super MTS,’ which allows the Penza region MTS subscribers to communicate with SMARTS customers of the region under the terms of a united network. Today, the process of integration has advanced to a new level: regardless of the billing plan, MTS subscribers in the region have new favorable opportunities for communication,” Evgeny Galushko, MTS director in the Penza region, commented.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, MTS completed the acquisition of JSC “Penza-GSM,” provider of SMARTS mobile services, in December 2014. This contributed to significantly better coverage by MTS in the Penza region, and improved the quality of services.
