Penza city head congratulates PenzaNews staff with 8-year media registration anniversary

Penza, 29 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza city head Valery Savelyev has personally congratulated the PenzaNews staff with 8 years of their official media registration.

“Since then, the web portal gained much popularity and became a quality brand in the news field for thousands of Penza citizens. You always keep your eye on the events in the city, raise the most urgent issues, quickly and actively respond to the calls of the time. News by PenzaNews are ever-timely and true reports that help our citizens keep after the events that happen in the city, the country and the world,” says the congratulation Valery Savelyev presented to the head of PenzaNews Ivan Malikov on Monday, February 29.
To commemorate the date, the head of the city presented a tea pottery set to the news agency staff.
Following that, Pavel Polosin, PenzaNews editor-in-chief, held a brief guided tour through the agency office for Valery Savelyev, concluding with the press center where he described the main advantages of the upgraded PenzaNews website in a big-screen live presentation.
Valery Savelyev praised the visual content of the upgraded website, which allows citizens of Penza and the region to see the news picture of the day in full.
Also, the city head took interest in the “Biographies” section of the website (available in Russian version).
“Will be visiting your website more frequently. There’s even something to learn about myself, too,” he jested.
Earlier, PenzaNews agency has upgraded its website to a new level of quality, as its updated and more functional version went public on Monday, February 29.
The redesigned layout with emphasis on certain elements makes it easier for the readers to encompass more information that previously could have been left unnoticed. The number of sections has increased, helping the readers filter the news. Another new addition is a list of key topics, which can be seen under the main menu (available only in Russian).
Also, the most recent photoalbums are now available for every reader to see in a separate section on the homepage. The photo archive, the history of the region in persons, has been reorganized into a more convenient form. Yet another new features is Biographies, the new section of the website (available only in Russian), with its contents constantly updating.
